Sorrow-kun has been writing anime reviews since the Australian winter of ‘05, originally for the now defunct AMG Reviews and now for The Nihon Review. In that time he has written over 40 full-series reviews and is under the illusion that his writing and opinions are well respected by anime fans. In his spare time, when Sorrow-kun isn’t nerding out by watching anime, he enjoys living vicariously through sports stars on television and takes great fondness by watching sports, particularly Tennis, Football (the round ball version) and Australian Rules. Sorrow-kun takes a strong interest in national politics and is fiercely leftist (none of which will come out in this blog). In his real life, Sorrow-kun is a PhD research student in the field of nanoscience.
Sorrow-kun also finds talking in third person awkward and uncomfortable.
Ok, enough bullcrap. This blog is your fairly typical anime blog minus the endless episode reviews, with a dash of shameless plugging for The Nihon Review cleverly disguised as subtle complaining. I hope you find what I write interesting, “hope” being the operative word in that statement.
